Outer spherical bearings consist of sealed outer spherical bearings on both sides and cast (or sheet stamped) housings. The internal structure of outer spherical bearings is the same as that of deep groove ball bearings, but the inner ring of these bearings is wider than the outer ring, and the outer ring has a truncated outer surface that matches the concave spherical surface of the housing and can be automatically aligned.
Usually there is a gap between the inner bore of this type of bearing and the shaft, with top wire, centerA sleeve or adapter sleeve holds the bearing inner ring to the shaft and rotates with the shaft.
